Trinity 06262015

Meet Trinity!

Trinity came to our shelter with her litter of 2.5 week-old kittens. She had been dumped on the property of a friend of our shelter when she was pregnant, and gave birth to her kittens in a woodpile.

It took a few weeks for her rescuer to gain her trust and capture her and all of her babies, and then she came to our shelter. She has been a great mom but is definitely ready for a life of leisure and luxury! Even when her kittens were very small and still nursing, Trinity wanted to greet every person who came into her room at the shelter.

She loves being petted and can’t wait to start her new life as a valued indoor cat who doesn’t have to worry about wandering stray or giving birth anymore!

Happy Gotcha Day Sadie!!

One year ago today Sadie was adopted by her amazing people. Sadie had a very rough life prior to finding her forever home. She changed hands at least 8 times and even had an owner that shot her before coming into our care!
Now she is spoiled rotten and we can't think of a dog that deserves it more than she does.
Her parents report that they got her "a small dog-friendly cake to celebrate. Over the year, she has enjoyed hanging out with her brother Ben (the kitty), belly rubs, car rides, walks, lots of DogTV, a standing monthly spa appointment and is also currently enjoying a monthly Bark Box subscription."
We just can't thank them enough for all they have done for this sweet girl!

A huge shout-out to the Girl Scouts of Troop 5045!
Thank you for taking your time to make us handmade beds for our shelter kitties and coming up to donate them to us.

These industrious young ladies will be earning their Silver Award with us at the end of this month, so stay tuned for pictures of all their hard work for our shelter critters.
