Volunteer Projects

One-time group project

We welcome “work parties”! Office teams looking for a day of service, youth organizations like Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, military groups, or your extended family: you’ve come to the right place.

Maybe you can’t commit to two shifts a month in our regular animal care program, or you only have one day when your whole team can get together. That’s exactly what this program is for. Past groups have renovated buildings, maintained lawns, planted gardens, built benches, spread mulch, and much more.

After your work day, you’ll get to hang out with our animals and meet the critters you helped!

Individual project

Are you an Eagle Scout looking for a project, or a Girl Scout working toward your Gold Award? We highly value this work and are dedicated to helping you reach your goals.

Past Eagle Scout projects have renovated animal rooms, created dog walking trails through our woods, built fenced-in backyard areas, and more. Our Volunteer Coordinator will help you choose a project that benefits the animals and makes a long-lasting impact.
